Bio
A Los Angeles native, Jonah was born into a vibrant Jewish community, to parents who early on impressed upon him the importance of a rich Jewish life and support of Jewish philanthropy. As an adult, he’s been involved with many Jewish organizations, from volunteering at the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village through the JDC, volunteering for Jewish Family Services, and taking advantage of many programs though the Jewish Federation, including LA’s New Leaders Project for civic engagement, Moreshet for young couples, Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters (he and his match Jake are on their 4th year!), Honeymoon Israel with his wife Courtney, and the Julie Beren Platt Teen Innovation Grant, in which he participated as a mentor to entrepreneurial teens in the performing arts. Jonah is a multi-platform creator and performer, working across all facets of the entertainment industry. He has starred on Broadway and TV, written for network television comedies, directed new works for the stage, and produced all kinds of work from award-winning albums to festival shorts to animation.
