Amotz Asa-El is a speaker and journalist who specializes in Israeli and Middle Eastern affairs. He is the former executive editor of The Jerusalem Post, where he continues to contribute to the column “Middle Israel,” which presents the views of the average Israeli on issues ranging from politics and religion to business and culture. Mr. Asa-El has been invited to academic forums all over the world to address diplomats, legislators, clergy, and business leaders on matters pertaining to Israeli, Middle Eastern, and Jewish affairs. A staunch supporter of Israel, Mr. Asa-El is an executive board member of the Paris-based Alliance Israelite, the oldest international Jewish organization in the world working to safeguard the human rights of Jews across the globe.
