Bio

As co-president of JNF’s Southwest Board, Joel Spalter is a key driver of JNF’s work in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. He is also a member of the Arava Task Force, the Housing Development Fund, and the Doctors for Israel Society. Dr. Spalter specializes in internal medicine and infectious diseases. He traveled to the Central Arava during Operation Protective Edge in 2014 to deliver medical advice and stand in solidarity with Israel, and is now working to help make the Negev habitable to the next generation of Israel’s residents as a member of the Arava Task Force and the Housing Development Fund.

Dr. Spalter is also a member of JNF’s Doctors for Israel Society, and practices internal medicine in both Florida and Arkansas.
