Bio
Alex Cicelsky is a senior staff member and founder of the Center for Creative Ecology (CfCE) and a founder of Kibbutz Lotan - a liberal Jewish intentional community actively engaged with the Global Ecovillage Network (GEN). He studied international agriculture at Cornel University's school of Agriculture and Life Sciences and graduated, following establishment of Kibbutz Lotan, from the Hebrew University Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment with a degree in Soil and Water Sciences and Environmental Quality in Agriculture. Mr. Cicelsky is a joint developer of the CfCE's youth education, college course and professional training programs and a mentor for many of the CfCE's alumni. He is currently researching sustainable development of insulation for houses from natural fibers for a PhD in the Energy Unit of the Faculty of Engineering of Ben Gurion University.
