Bio
Stephen Spector is an accomplished author and professor who wrote Operation Solomon: The Daring Rescue of the Ethiopian Jews, which tells the story of the massive Israeli airlift of over 14,000 Ethiopian Jews to Israel in less than a day and half in 1991. A widely respected academic, Professor Spector is a professor of English and the former department chair at Stony Brook University, has served as visiting professor at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and as a researcher of religion at both Wesleyan University and the National Humanities Center. An expert on Jewish Christian relations, Professor Spector wrote Evangelicals and Israel: The Story of American Christian Zionism, which is the definitive book on Christian support of Israel.
