Bio
Rabbi Bob Alper is “the world’s only practicing clergyman doing stand up comedy…intentionally.” He is a graduate of the Princeton Theological Seminary, and went on to serve as a rabbi for congregations around the United States for 14 years. He then channeled his passion for performance into a successful comedy career, which has taken him all around North America and England. He also uses comedy as a way to promote coexistence, with 200 of his shows being performed with Arab and Muslim comedy partners. He is the author of three books, and lives in rural Vermont with his wife.
