Bio
Yarden Gerbi is a retired Israeli judoka world champion and Olympic bronze medalist. She is one of the most successful judoka fighters in Israeli history, winning the national championship five-times by the age of 24. In 2013, Gerbi won a gold medal in the World Judo Championship, and a few years later she won an Olympic bronze medal competing for Israel at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Gerbi retired from the sport at the 2017 Maccabiah Games and has since received a degree in economics and management from the Open University of Israel.
