Bio

Dr. Raanan Gissin is one of Israel’s leading voices to the international press on security and the Arab-Israeli conflict. He has served as Senior Advisor to former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, and was a special advisor to the Israeli Delegation at the Madrid Peace Conference. He served with the IDF as a Strategic Analyst in the Planning Branch where he helped orchestrate the Sinai withdrawal and the peace process with Egypt, and was the IDF spokesman during the Lebanon War. Dr. Gissin was also spokesperson for the Ministry of National Infrastructure and regularly appears on CNN, MSNBC, and Fox.
