Mitchell Bard is the Executive Director of American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise, a nonprofit organization that works to strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship. He is one of the leading authorities on U.S. Middle East policy, and directs Jewish Virtual Library, the world’s most comprehensive online encyclopedia of Jewish history and culture. Dr. Bard worked as editor of AIPAC’s weekly newsletter on U.S.-Middle East Policy, The Near East Report, and was a senior analyst in the polling division of the 1988 Bush presidential campaign. He has appeared on the BBC, Fox News, MSNBC, NBC, CBC, and Al-Jazeera, and has written and edited dozens of books, including Myths And Facts: A Guide to the Arab-Israeli Conflict and 1001 Facts Everyone Should Know About Israel. In 2013, the Algemeiner named him one of the Top 100 People Positively Influencing Jewish Life.
