Bio

Bahij Mansour is the new Mayor of Isfiya. He was elected on November 2018, and officially started his term a month later He was born in Israel in 1956, and had served in the IDF as an officer for over 20 years. After his military service, he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Among his many positions were First Secretary in the Israeli Embassy in Jordan, and Ambassador to Angola, Dominican Republic, Antigua, Jamaica, Grenada, Dominica and Haiti. Mayor Mansour has a B.A. in Political Science and M.A. in Social Science Studies – both from Haifa University.He is married and has 4 children.
