Bio

Captain (Res.) Libby Weiss was formerly a spokesperson for the IDF to the North American press and oversaw all of the IDF’s social media activity. During her tenure in the IDF, she developed the IDF’s communications strategy for the US and worked closely with reporters from leading news outlets, including CNN, Fox News, The New York Times, The Associated Press, and more. Libby has been interviewed hundreds of times on behalf of the IDF, during Operation Protective Edge in 2014 when she gave tours of the Hamas terror tunnels to CNN and Fox News, and in the Philippines and Nepal as a part of the IDF’s humanitarian missions to those countries. In 2014 she was awarded the Presidential Award of Excellence for her service by President Shimon Peres. She is now the Head of Communications for digital health company Healthy.io. Libby has a B.A. in Political Science from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
