Bio
Naomi Ragen is a novelist, playwright and journalist who has lived in Jerusalem since 1971. Naomi has written for the Jerusalem Post and other publications in Israel and abroad about Israel and Jewish issues.A first generation American born in Brooklyn to Ukrainian Jews, Naomi wound up in an Orthodox private school growing up. She majored in English at Brooklyn College eventually going back and getting her Masters in English at Hebrew University. After making Aliyah with her husband, Naomi toed the line between her new ultra religious neighborhood and her open minded and prolific religious commentary.
