Bio
For more than four decades, Professor Kenneth Stein has taught contemporary Middle Eastern history, political science, and Israeli studies at Emory University. In 1998, He established the first academic center for the study of modern Israel in the United States with the Emory Institute for the Study of Modern Israel. In addition to his highly acclaimed work, “The Land Question in Palestine, 1917-1939,” his book, “Heroic Diplomacy” about the negotiating process in the 1970s remains a standard for the study of the Sadat – Begin relationship.
