Bio
Sassy Reuven grew up in Beer Sheva. He joined the IDF in 1973 the day of the Yom Kippur war ceasefire. Sasson next volunteered to the Red Beret/Paratrooper 890 brigade unit and participated in many missions during his three-army years.Four months before the end of his service, he took part in the Raid on Entebbe mission. He was among the first to jump out of the number 1 Hercules C-130 aircraft in Entebbe, Uganda to take part in the release of the Jewish hostages. Sassy soon moved to Los Angeles to assume the role of director of El-Al cargo security and ended up meeting his wife Susan there as well. Today, Sassy travels around the world to share his account of the mission.
