Bio

Yisrael Ne'eman is a professor of contemporary Israeli culture at the University of Haifa International School and leads a summer educational field study program, Israel: A Mosaic. He helped form Hamartzim Educational Services through which he co-founded and directed the Mideast on Target e-journal and newsletter. Mr. Ne'eman served for a decade as local council chairman for the Eshchar community village, where he brought a hundred new families to the town and worked with the Bedouin neighbors to establish municipal borders, cross-community cooperation, and future development for both communities.
