Bio

Dr. Jonathan Schanzer is senior vice president at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies in Washington, D.C., where he directs FDD’s research and ensures its timely delivery inside the Beltway, across America, and around the world. Dr. Schanzer has testified before Congress regarding counter-terrorism, published widely in American and international media, and written several books on the Palestinian leadership structure and on terrorist groups including Al-Qaeda. He appears regularly as a political pundit on international news media such as Fox News, CNN, and Al-Jazeera.
