NEFESH B'NEFESH Stands with Israel: Israel Resilience Campaign Activity:

·       Helping with flights and accommodations for families of Lone Soldiers in active combat if the need arises

·       Facilitating medical professional volunteers to come to Israel to help the shortage of doctors caused by so many being called up to reserve duty

·       Providing English-language mental health support for English-speaking olim (immigrants to Israel)

NEFESH B'NEFESH: EVERYDAY WORK

EACH YEAR, thousands of individuals from North America are making Aliyah (immigrating to Israel) by choice through Nefesh B’Nefesh. Aliyah creates a personal bond and a living bridge between Israel and communities abroad, as well as fueling Israel’s economy. Through supporting the olim (new immigrants), you are taking part in the growth and success of Israel by investing in its most important resource: the people.

In 1901, Jewish National Fund’s focus was on buying land and planting trees to build a nation. Today, Jewish National Fund is planting people in Israel, strengthening the nation through 21st Century aliyah with its partner Nefesh B’Nefesh. Olim are living the Zionist dream, powering to every aspect of Israeli society and ensuring a promising future.

Funding Opportunities

SPONSOR A SEAT ON AN ALIYAH FLIGHT: $1,000

Help fulfill the dream. Take a virtual seat on an aliyah flight to Israel to support the passionate new residents (olim) voluntarily immigrating to Israel to help build a stronger country.

SPONSOR LONE NATIONAL SERVICE WOMEN:  $2,500

Empower the committed, strong, idealistic women who are serving our country by helping Israel’s underserved population. Your gift will provide programming events, guidance, social and emotional support, and a financial grant to over 150 women who come to Israel entirely alone to serve their country.

SPONSOR A LONE SOLDIER:  $5,000

Support the brave young men and women who are far from family and home as they stand alongside their Israeli brothers and sisters to protect Israel. Your gift helps the Lone Soldiers before, during, and after their army service, providing them with financial, emotional bureaucratic support that protects their physical and emotional well-being as they protect Israel.

PROVIDE ALIYAH SUPPORT:  $10,000

Your gift will support the Aliyah of one individual to Israel: this support is holistic and begins approximately 6 months before Aliyah and continues throughout their integration to Israel. Pre- Aliyah application guidance, advisor support, Aliyah flight, government advocacy, social integration, employment assistance, crisis support and a hotline for any issues that may arise.

SPONSOR A COMMUNITY SHABBAT DINNER:  $10,000

As a ‘host’, your gift will bring together 80-100 new Olim, to come together, connect and build community around a welcoming Shabbat table in a festive and joyful environment. Building community is key to successful integration and a launchpad into Israeli society.

SUPPORT THE PIONEERING OF A FAMILY TO THE NORTH OR SOUTH: $10,000

It takes incredible strength to make Aliyah, and even more so to relocate to Israel's frontier. Support the families and individuals who have chosen to be pioneers and move to Israel's North and South region.
