HELPING THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL SINCE OCTOBER 7

On October 7, 2023, Israel and our Jewish world were shocked when the unthinkable happened and terrorists attacked Israel’s south, brutally murdering over 1,200 people – mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, grandparents - and causing widespread devastation and heartbreak. Since then, Jewish National Fund-USA has been on the ground assisting in every way possible, from evacuations to providing emergency aid. But we knew that was not enough. Our Resilience Campaign, carefully planned in consultation with local communities, is creating a safer, more secure life for the people of Israel, starting with our all-out efforts in to rebuild the South and the North.

Our Build Together plan for the South and our Reimagine plan for the North leverage our vast philanthropic investments made prior to October 7 to lead rebuilding efforts in Israel’s North and South. In partnership with the people of Israel, we will create secure, beautiful havens for the residents of displaced communities to return home to and entice new residents to join.

We were there yesterday, we are there today, and we will be there tomorrow.

BUILD TOGETHER

Build Together is a comprehensive and bold strategic initiative to rebuild southern Israeli communities in the Israel Envelope –communities on the border with Gaza – and provide the infrastructure and quality of life needed to allow residents to feel safe coming home as well as grow the population.

REIMAGINE

Since October 8, 2023 – the day after the worst atrocity inflicted upon the Jewish people since the Holocaust – Hezbollah launched a steady stream of missiles and drones at communities in the north, forcing the evacuation of nearly 120,000 residents who are scattered from Eilat to Tiberias. Some were officially evacuated, some left voluntarily, and some have not been able to leave and are still living there. Each missile is destroying a home or threatening a life.

We have been with them every step of the way and now we need to let them know we will always be with them.

Despite these harrowing challenges, Jewish National Fund-USA continues to build the North. And reimagining for tomorrow we believe in life and hope.
