SAN DIEGO, December 5, 2024 — Recently, nearly 100 young professionals united at Deck 655 for Jewish National Fund-USA’s JNFuture Seaside Soirée, where community members ages 22-40 stood in solidarity with the people of Israel while learning how the organization is spearheading rebuilding initiatives in Israel’s North and South.

Co-chaired by Liron Blumenthal and Gali Blumenthal, the event showcased the many Jewish National Fund-USA initiatives that support the land and people of Israel. While the organization is well-known for planting trees in Israel, local lay leaders pointed out that the organization’s impact on the Jewish Homeland goes far deeper, with a vast array of bold and visionary initiatives supporting everything from rebuilding the communities that were impacted on October 7, community development, heritage site preservation, and so much more.
“For over a century we’ve been a world leader in food tech, water, and energy security R&D,” Jewish National Fund-USA Campaign Executive, JNFuture San Diego, Kayla Globerson said at the event. “We work with countries in East Asia and Africa, changing the game in Agri-tech techniques. We provide lifesaving equipment and unique therapies for Israeli citizens with disabilities. We are the leader in Zionist education, sending thousands of students from all over the country to our Alexander Muss High School in Israel, with many alumni present here tonight.”

“Tonight, we come together after more than a year of enduring conflict,” added Event Co-chair Liron Blumenthal. “At times we can feel helpless, but there’s lots of different ways to get involved. Every project, every story, every life touched by Jewish National Fund-USA is a testament to our collective resilience. We’re here tonight because we believe in making a difference for Israel, even from afar. Each of us, with our presence and support, can be part of something meaningful.”
