Bio

Dr. Mohammad Al-Nabari is the mayor of Hura, a Bedouin village in southern Israel where he successfully decreased the unemployment rate and improved the education system. Prior to his tenure in public service, he was a successful pharmaceutical industry innovator and registered 12 patents for drugs dealing with the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and brain cancer. Dr. Al-Nabari is the founder of Desert Stars, a young Bedouin leadership program, and serves on the management board of The Abraham Fund Initiatives, a non-profit dedicated to advancing coexistence, equality, and cooperation between Jewish and Arab Israelis.
