Bio

William is an apostate who, after renouncing Islam in favor of Judaism, was forced to flee Iran under threat of persecution. He speaks to audiences in the United States about religious freedom, other human rights issues that are connected to his personal story, Israel and more. Between speaking engagements and school, William does professional translations, presently rendering Seth M. Siegel's Let There Be Water for readers of Farsi. He is also hard at work on a memoir about his unique journey.
