Bio
Bret Stephens is an op-ed columnist and associate editor with The New York Times. He has previously served as editor-in-chief of The Jerusalem Post and as foreign-affairs columnist and deputy editorial page editor of The Wall Street Journal. His numerous distinctions include the Pulitzer Prize, three honorary doctorates, and the Ellis Island Medal of Honor. He was raised in Mexico City, educated at the University of Chicago and the London School of Economics, and lives in New York with his wife and children.
