Bio

Dror Avital is a leader of HaShomer HaChadash, a grassroots movement that educates youth about the pioneering Zionist spirit, empowers volunteers with civic pride, and protects Israel’s farmland in remote areas. Mr. Avital has long been committed to Zionist ideals. He was a counsellor in Israel Scouts as a youth. After completing his IDF service in an elite Counter-Terrorism Unit, he volunteered and then worked with The Aharai Organization, which promotes leadership and social involvement among at-risk youth. He has also served as senior director for the Education Cities Organizations and worked as CEO of Israel’s Khan Academy branch.
