Bio

Captain Eric J. Schorr (res.) served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) from 2014-2019 as a lone soldier, with his last active position as intelligence and operations officer to Major Gen. Amir Aboulafia, the head of the IDF Planning Directorate, between 2017-2020.

Schorr gained fame for his Israel activism at Columbia University, where he was President of LionPAC, the largest pro-Israel organization on campus. In 2011, The Jewish Week named him to its 36 Under 36 list of young Jewish leaders, and in 2012, he was named AIPAC Student Advocate of the Year. Schorr currently works in intelligence and security analysis in the tech sector.
