Bio

Ruvik Danilovich is Mayor of Be'er Sheva, Israel’s fastest growing city and often referred to as the “capital of the Negev.” Born, raised, and educated in Be’er Sheva, Danilovich’s leadership and strategic planning has boosted local investment, transforming the city into a high-tech hub and cyber leader, resulting in increased employment and better funding for education, entertainment, environmental quality, the arts, and tourism. Working with Jewish National Fund, Ben Gurion University, and the government, he has made open spaces into new parks and recreation centers, is adding a new hospital and college campus to the city, created thousands of new housing units, and renovated infrastructure and neighborhoods to accommodate population growth.
