TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
- Target participants are Senior Educators in Supplemental Religious Schools and formal and informal Zionist/Jewish educators.
- Spend 8 days learning and networking with 200+ educators from around the world as part of the USA delegation to the Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael World Education Conference in Israel.
- Explore Jewish/Zionist education in a post-October 7th world; experience Israel today and bring inspiration and stories back to your classrooms.
- Attend workshops, lectures, and discussions on the current challenges in Zionist education.
- Experience KKL-JNF's educational activities and educational materials that serve as a tool kit to empower the next generation.
- Tour KKL-JNF and Jewish National Fund-USA sites and projects with emphasis on the areas of the Western Negev and Israel's north.
- Tour heritage sites and historical sites of the Jewish people.
- Learn about Eco-Zionism™ and the connection between Judaism, Israel, and the environment.
- Volunteer in farms affected by the war.
- Visit Alexander Muss High School in Israel (MUSS) and learn about opportunities for teens to earn grants up to $7,500 through Dream Israel to study at MUSS, Heller High, and TRY USY.
Terms of Participation:
Each participant will commit to work with a member of the Jewish National Fund-USA professional team to incorporate Jewish National Fund-USA into your school's programming. Follow-up will be tailored to fit the educational and strategic goal of each participant's school. Projects may include but are not limited to promoting study abroad and travel to Israel, participating in Tu BiShvat in the Schools, and running relevant programs related to Jewish National Fund-USA's work in Israel.
Participants are expected to share their experiences on social media while they’re on the trip and, upon return, write and/or speak about the trip to their school and in their community.
* Flights and pre- and post-tour extensions are NOT included and may be arranged upon request
*Food is kosher according to the Rabbinate of Israel.
